STANDING

ON GOD'S PROMISES

COMFORT

FROM SOUL TO SOLE

Over a decade ago, Molly was given a dream about Scripture Socks, where Bible verses are inscribed on the soles of socks to encourage others to walk by faith and to stand on the promises of God. Molly has created “homemade” versions of Scripture Socks since 2007, and in 2017, she felt the quickening of her heart to develop Scripture Socks into a company that would encourage others beyond her personal reach. She and her family were taking great strides toward making Scripture Socks a literal dream-come-true, and then a spiritual warfare like they never had experienced suddenly began. In God’s infinite wisdom and sovereignty, He graciously allowed Molly and her family to go through immense trials so they could face the choice to truly walk by faith and stand on His promises wholeheartedly, enabling them to be more fully capable of encouraging others to do the same through Scripture Socks. Molly stated, “There is sweetness in surrender. We either trust God or we don’t; there is no in-between. Yet we often live in the in-between.” She continued, “As we love God and are called according to His purpose, we truly can trust Him to work all things together for our good and His glory.” Molly prays each pair of Scripture Socks and Scripture Soles will be a blessing to all who wear and give them, offering comfort from soul to sole.

With faith as their foundation, Molly’s family followed God’s leading to establish the non-profit organization, Project Soul to Sole. With its ministry, they share the Good News of God’s saving love and amazing grace with a hurting world. Through gifts as simple as a pair of Scripture Socks or Scripture Soles given to remind others of Jesus’ love, Project Soul to Sole reaches the homeless, the hospitalized, the orphaned, and those serving in the military, to name a few. Molly describes, “We live in a beautiful yet broken world, and we are thankful to be a part of offering encouragement for others to walk by faith until we walk the streets of gold. We all need reminders that our faithful steps in life are filled with God’s promises and purposes and that with Him, we never walk alone.”
